A portion of the factory roof is equipped with a "solar power generation system". The project was completed on July 1, 2018. The installed capacity is 197.65KW. The estimated annual total power generation is 209,114 degrees. After the completion of the project, the benefits have proven to be two-fold: on the one hand, it can reduce indoor temperatures of the building by 2-3 degrees (C) On the other hand, with the use solar panels to generate electricity, we are able to reduce our carbon footprint.
"Zero Workplace Accidents" is a primary goal at G-Shank. We continually implement occupational safety and health policies, actively promote various safe management goals, prioritize education and training, and constantly strive to improve workplace operations.
G-Shank conducts internal audits every year to ensure smooth operation of the management system. This is accomplished by regular inspections conducted by our health and safety comitee, providing corrections and preventive measures to close any gaps in safety found to maintain the safety of the overall work environment. The health and safety comitee also assists on-site operations supervisors to formulate standard operating procedures, and on-site operations supervisors carry out education of the operating staff, training staff to comply with the regulations.
Meetings of the health and safety committee are held every three months, and new employees of the company are required to attend work safety seminars in accordance with regulations to prevent occupational safety hazards and accidents.
In order to protect the health of employees, various types of protective equipment (earplugs, safety shoes, goggles... etc.) are provided for employees in their relative workplaces, and the protective equipment required for entering each workplace is clearly marked outside of the workplace. The health and safety personnel supervise the use of PPE to ensure employees' awareness of the importance of personal protection.
At G-Shank, our employees are highly valued assets. Every year, qualified medical institutions and professionals conduct free health check-ups for employees. In addition, special health check-ups are conducted for employees that work in environmentd that special safety considerations, such as expoure to noise and dust in the workplace.
Water quality testing is conducted through the use of an external qualified testing agency on a quarterly basis to ensure the safety of drinking water for employees.
In order to ensure a safe environment for our valued emlpoyees, G-Shank has developed automatic inspection methods for lathes, punching machines, milling machines, etc. which establish automatic checklist for potential machinery and equipment hazards.
Each year, a qualified environmental measurement unit is entrusted to conduct environmental testing for noise, dust and local exhaust devices to ensure the safety of the working environment of employees.
